Chennai Express has been watched. After watching the movie i would try to predict the box office of the movie.
Week 1 total- 111Cr
Chennai Express Box Office Predictions-
Day1- 28cr
Day2- 20cr
Day3-25cr
Weekend- 73cr
Chennai Express wont break the opening day record of Ek Tha Tiger but it will surely break the 1st 3 day collection of Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg2 which was 60cr and 65cr Respectively.
Weekday collection-
Monday- 13cr
Tuesday- 11cr
Wednesday- 10cr
Thursday-14cr ( Independence day)
Weekday- 48cr
Week 1 total- 111Cr
Chennai Express will break the 1st week record of Dabangg 2 which was 107cr ( Non Holiday Release) but will fall way short of opening week record of Ek Tha Tiger which was 137cr. The only movie which has potential to break the opening Week record of Ek Tha Tiger is going to be Krissh3.
The 2nd week Trending of Chennai Express will depend a lot upon Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.
But if we look into in ingeneral-
2nd Weekend-
Friday- 5cr
Saturday-5cr
Sunday- 8cr
+
More 11cr on weekdays.
2nd Week- 29cr
So the two weeek Total of Chennai Express will be 140cr.
Chennai Express shall collect more 10cr in its Life time term and End up at a Figure of 150cr.
It will just manage to cross the Life time Collection of Dabangg, Bodyguard and Ready but will fall way short of Dabangg2, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Ek Tha Tiger and 3 Idiots.
Hope you liked my Box Office prediction of Chennai Express..

On what basis have you predicted himesh ?
boss... whatever reasoning and logic u have applied... like no. of screens, shows, ticket rates, occupancy n all... m truly impressed by your dedication n efforts...
@mansi- These are predictions on basis of audience reaction and screen counts. The movie has received a mixed response which means it wont sustain for more than 2 weeks.. So i dont think it shall go above 150cr
